Our story
It started with a spreadsheet. Alex was running hiring for an early-stage startup and spending 15+ hours a week on first-round phone calls. Most of them were over in 5 minutes because the candidate clearly wasn't a fit.
Jordan had seen the same thing from the engineering side โ pulling senior engineers into interviews before they even knew if the candidate had the right fundamentals.
We built HireBee in a weekend to test the idea: what if candidates could record short video answers instead? The time saved was immediate. The quality of conversations with shortlisted candidates was dramatically better.
We launched to a small waitlist, hit 100 customers in 6 weeks, and never looked back.
